Take a look at who didn't get out and you will find a reason. Some can't imagine that some folks use PUBLIC transportation in a city that size cause there just ain't enough jobs for everyone to have a house in the 'burbs. We all can't go fill up the Explorer and book rooms at Dizney World to miss a storm like that, and some of our leaders have no idea , and don't seem to care, what it is like to live that way.
The biggest waste of money up there is paying those idiots to represent us...Congress,Senate,President, among others...That's the biggest waste ask them to work free for a year and see how many agrees to it...It's just like Doctors they care for the cash not you.

You know they can vote for cost of living raises for themselves on a regular basis, however they can't seem to vote for an increase in minimum wage....looks a little one sided to me.
Why dont you work for a year for free then?
